That’s an interesting quote to have so publicly displayed- especially as I am sure you are not the only person that disagrees with the philosophy it supports. I would be interested to hear what the guy says regarding his reason for getting that particular quote, if it is in fact a declaration of his support of Marxism or if he was taking the quote out its intended context to use as a guide for leaving a passionate life. There is a tattooed quotation on my site that I have conflicted feelings regarding as well. Keep in mind, my site takes a much more humorous tone with tattoos. I do, however, appreciate hearing your well-thought out comments regarding them. An interesting juxtaposition, if you will! : )

Che Guevara Tattoo
Although the world of tattoo is populated with literally an infinite number of portrait images, few have transcended their particular individualistic symbolism in the way that the image of Che Guevara has. Theoretician and tactician of guerilla warfare and a prominent figure in the Cuban Revolution, Guevara’s death at age thirty-nine, which happened while he was fighting for Communism in Bolivia in 1967, helped to ensure his lasting fame. A photograph taken on March 5, 1960, by photojournalist Diaz Gutierrez, of Guevara wearing a black beret with a star and an uplifted but somber gaze has be- come the one of the best-known portraits in the world. It has become synonymous with Communism, as well as violent revolution. Tattoo Design www.tattoobody.org
